Solution: We took an intense look over existing marketing materials and the movie’s DNA to arrive at an actionable strategy.
Our approach was to lead with passive and close with interactive. We know online behavior and people tend to be shy at first and if they feel comfortable will then interact. Because the trailer provides a great passive experience and tells the story best so we decided to put that in the forefront. The user has the option to play with the rich media unit while the video is playing. At the end of the trailer they are presented with the four main characters and can explore to find out more about them.
Results: Higher than average engagements and length of interactions.
