Modstar was brought on by Heavenspot to produce the redesign of Demand Media’s online platform. Demand operates online brands such as eHow, and Cracked, and is known for creating online content based on a combination of measured consumer demand and predicted ROI.
: he challenge we faced was helping people understand Demand’s complex business model for three separate audiences of advertisers, publishers, and freelance content creators. We needed to communicate Demands story with well thought out usability.
Solution: We met with the Demand business and interactive teams to determine success metrics and then took a deep dive into Information Architecture. Once we achieved clarity in the communication we added elegant and inviting design that captures the modernity and sophistication of the Demand brand.
Results: The site exceeded Demand’s expectations as a vehicle for marketing, PR, and lead generation.
